- What’s the most exciting part of your job?
Closing a deal after an intense sales cycle, especially with an enterprise, is exciting and satisfying. It is not just in terms of the monetary value that the deal brings to the company but also in a more personal, quaint feeling of a journey coming to an end right from understanding the problem and being able to provide them with an effective solution.
- Can you describe your journey so far at Hyperface?
There have been moments of calm and then some moments of absolute madness. It’s been a grounding experience getting to learn about the cards and banking industry from some of the best in the business. I was also introduced to the delight of eating the famous snack called ‘Kachori’ at Hyperface! - What inspires you the most about working at Hyperface?
Our mission of building technology that positively impacts the customer experience inspires me. Top that with the fact that you have a brilliant and capable team that inspires you. - What is your main work mantra?
If you don’t ask, you’ll never find out. Most problems disappear when we package it as a question and place it in the open. No matter how dumb it sounds in your head, ask away. - What is something you do for fun at work, especially at Hyperface?
We enjoy a fair deal of discussion/discourse at the workplace. Be it over the startup ecosystem, particular cuisines, experiences, or politics! - Where will we find you on a typical weekend?
You’ll mostly find me at home. 🙂 I try and stay away from fellow human beings on weekends; my wife is the mandatory exception! - When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A soldier, footballer, fast food taster, and a member of Archie’s gang! Each aspiration held an exceptional place in my heart. - What movie can you watch over and over again?
A bunch of them. I’m a Star Wars fan (at least till Episode VII 😏), recently also hooked on the 2021 adaptation of Dune. The Big Short and Margin Call are two movies I got hooked on, thanks to the splendid performances. - If all Superheroes fight each other, which Superhero will be the winner?
Deadpool. Or Shaktimaan, proudly made in India. - If you could only pick three foods for a month, which foods would you eat?
Biryani, Parle-G, and Chai. - Are you a cat person or a dog person?
I’m a dog person. - What is your favourite meme on Sales?
Are you looking for an exciting career in fintech?
