Key Highlights on Credit Card Statistics OND 2022

In the last quarter of the calendar year 2022, or in the months of October, November and December 2022, the Indian banking system saw an increase in the number of credit cards in force. Credit Card spends grew 35% YoY in OND 2022 and maintained the streak of Rs.1 trillion+ spends for the 10th consecutive month. The report also briefly covers the fee on rent payments made via credit cards that are being charged by various banks. There were 81.19 million credit cards as on December 2022.
