In the third quarter of 2022, the Indian banking system saw a decline in the number of credit cards in force for two consecutive months perhaps attributing to the recent regulatory changes by the RBI. But the credit card spends remained strong and touched an all-time high of Rs. 1.22 trillion in September 2022, a 52.72% YoY growth!
